This album collects more than 70 typical bridges ofhigh-speed railway already constructed in China with the intention to includerepresentative high-speed railway bridges. This album includes six chapters:concrete simply-supported girder bridges, concrete continuous girder bridges,ridge frame bridges, steel-beam bridges, combined system bridges, arch bridgesand cable-stayed bridges, and encloses nearly 200 inserts. 

With its rich contents andexcellent pictures and texts, this book can be used as a reference book forpersonnel engaged in design, construction, management, education and researchof bridges of high-speed railways. 

Zheng Jian, professional-level senior engineer, expertgranted with the special allowance of the State Council, chief planner of theMinistry of Railway, chief commander of national railway station construction,president of MOR Economic Planning Institute, outstanding engineering designand management expert in Chinese railway construction and one of the majortechnical decision makes of high-speed railway construction in China. He hassuccessively published 5 works including DesignGuidelines for Railway Passenger Station and High-speed Railway Bridges in China. In recent years, he hasfocused on planning, design and construction of new railway stations and technologyof fixed facilities for high-speed railway. In 2009, he was nominated as Academician of ChineseAcademy of Engineering.
