Onthe basis of wide investigation and research works, these General Rules forConstruction of Port and Waterway Works have been drafted, revised andfinalized by summarizing the specification requirements relating toconstruction management experience of port and waterway works and the basicrequirements of construction included in current codes and standards.  It has also been compared to internationalcodes and standards, and in addition there have been consultations leading tocomments and recommendations from competent institutions and authorities. TheseGeneral Rules mainly include the technical contents relating to Ports andWaterway Works covering construction management, temporary works, generalworks, waterfront structures, roads and storage yards of the port, dredging andreclamation works, waterway works, waterfront structures of shipyard,installation of equipment etc.
